I was born and raised in Communist Romania, where the rigid structures of the regime shaped my early worldview. The fall of Communism in 1989 was a defining moment — it cracked something open in me, a sense that more was possible. But the years that followed were far from easy. Navigating post-Communist society came with its own turbulence, and the death of my mother during that time left a deep mark. That grief became the starting point of a longer path — one that pulled me inward.

Before I found my current calling, I spent years working in project and people management across the travel and tech industries. I gained a lot from those roles, but they also took a toll. In 2012, after years of pushing through stress and unresolved pain, my body forced a reckoning: I hit a wall — sickness, burnout, depression, and a 30 kg weight gain. Strength training, something I’d turned to since I was a teenager, became my lifeline. It helped me rebuild not just my body, but a sense of clarity and connection between physical health and mental resilience.

In the past eight years, I’ve been working with clients at the intersection of physical transformation and deep personal work — you can train the body or work on the mind — I’ve found it makes more sense to do both.

The pandemic became another turning point. That’s when I turned toward plant medicine — not as a trend, but as a serious, respectful step into healing. It helped me process layers of trauma that talk and movement alone couldn’t reach. That experience led me to become a trauma-informed Somatic Plant Medicine Integration Practitioner, and it now forms an important part of how I support others.
